Playing with My New Lens

The other day, I was at my friend's house and she was showing me her new lens. I was loving it. THEN, my blogging friend just told me she got the same lens.

That was it. I needed that lens. It's the 50mm lens for my Nikon.

Between taking pictures of my kids and travels and taking pictures for my teaching blog, I decided it was time to get one. I was talking to Ron about it and he was 100% on board with it. 

So I got it today! Eeeek! So excited!  So of course I had to play with it. 

(and yes, you really do have to look through they eye to take the picture, and not at the screen)

(Please don't mind B's hair - she's always quite the ragamuffin)

 And of course, Baby C had to be a model.

So.... looks like I'll be seeing you more often now! ha!
