Life Lately...August Wrap Up

Whew!!

Man, August has FLOWN by! I feel like we just started and we're already at the end of it. That's what happens once school starts, I guess.

So let me do a quick recap of our August, instead of our week, I guess. lol

Let's see....

After our birthday trip to the Keys, we came home and celebrated me and my grandma's birthday together at Squid Lips.

I love that we still have 4 generations of family - how awesome is that?!

Then it was back to school for teachers - even though, as a new pineapple teacher, I was already back for 2 weeks, but this was the week that ALL teachers reported back. It was a great way to return back to work.

Then, it was meet the teacher. Honestly, starting a new school that isn't completely finished is kind of chaotic, but somehow, my anxiety level is at an all time low, and I'm not even on meds! Our school wasn't ready for us to be on campus yet, so we had to switch to a different school AND it was on the weekend instead of at night. BUT, it all worked out just fine.

I had my first meet the teacher as a pineapple teacher and the Ron brought the girls in to meet their teachers. Autumn had to miss out on hers, though, since she had volleyball tryouts during that time. But it's okay - she survived. :)

THEN.... it was the first day of school. Again, new school isn't finished and the 2nd grade building isn't finished, so we're in the "New" building, temporarily... and we didn't have all of our technology and we don't have keys... lol. It's been an adventurous beginning, but it has not been so bad!

We had our first day and everyone left still happy and wanting to go back...despite having to wear uniforms - ha! That was a big gripe with the girls, but low and behold, they actually like their uniforms now....just like Momma said they would.

In other big news... Caroline, who has been BEGGING for a cat for years, has finally got her wish. Our sheriff's animal shelter was waving the fees for adoptions in August, so not only did we get 1, but we got TWO kitties.

She is in KITTY HEAVEN right now. And all the girls love the cats.

Meanwhile, I've still been able to get up at 4:30 in the morning to get in my workouts.

I actually just finished my latest calendar!

I've finished this calendar despite going back to work - still getting up at 430, because there's no way I'd be able to do it after work (these days, anyway). ⏰️🐦
I really liked this mash up of programs, it had weights, cardio, barre...I did sub out some of the workouts, but kept it the same "style." That's the beauty of beachbody on demand...there's literally THOUSANDS of different workouts to choose from.🏋‍♀️🏃‍♀️🩰💃🥊🧘‍♀️
Now...to figure out my next calendar 🤔🤔🤔

And of course, we've found some time to still go to the beach - because we love some vitamin sea!

Another Workout Calendar Done!

Well, I finished another workout calendar!

I'm really loving these Hybrid calendars! It keeps things fresh and fun. This one incorporated 5 different programs:

1) MBF/A (Megan) - you did the recovery days and the Power Ignite workouts, working the whole body, one of my favorite types of working out!

2) T25 (Shaun T) - I love Shaun T, I love his personality and his hard core workouts. BUT my body does not like his style of workouts... my neck and bladder don't like all the jumping. lol. But I did them! I just modified some of the jumping parts so I wouldn't pee my pants. haha!

3) 80 Day Obsession (Autumn) - we did the booty days, the last one for each phase. SO GOOD. They were 2x15s with 3 moves in each set. Man, my butt got a good workout on those days.

4) Body Beast (Sagi - old school!) - I will say, Sagi is not my favorite trainer to listen to, he's kind of awkward, but I pass no judgement, being in front of a camera when English isn't your first language. I mean, I get it. But MAN, he sure does know his workouts!! We did shoulders and tris one day and legs another day from him. I'm REALLY tempted to do one of his calendars next, I love his style of working out so much.

5) The Work (Amoila) - and then.... The Crucible with Amoila. UGH. I really love Amoila. His passion just jumps off into the screen and he really motivates you. His laugh and smile, and his story telling. But this dang crucible?! Holy Crap. The last one was from the last workout in The Work and each set was 100 reps of each move!! I wanted to cry. In fact.. if you saw my reel on Instagram, I think I did cry. lol

It was a HARD calendar - I really pushed myself for 3 weeks (add a few days for quick trips), but it was really FUN! If you want the calendar, you can download it HERE

AND I have a day pass link for BODi - click HERE

Then I went for a 2 mile run (well, walk/run...). My goal during the summer is to get in a run every day while I'm home. It's really just 4 cul-de-sacs...because my neighborhood is one big "circle" of cul-de-sacs. Running in FL summer, no matter what time of day, sweat will be dripping profusely... these spring bud lnts hide the sweat so well!! And the copper charge tanks, of course, are amazing 👏
On, the look like nothing is there, off and inside out? Looks like I peed my pants 😆

Those light n tights really are life! lol

January Super Saturday

Today I went to my first Super Saturday as a Beachbody Coach.

Can I tell you how awesome it is to go to a meeting in your workout clothes!?  Yes, please!

I went all by myself. I knew NO ONE there. And if you know me, you know I do NOT like that kind of situation. I hate not knowing people. I hate meeting people. I hate trying to figure out what to say to people to strike up a conversation.

But I did it.  And I'm glad!

Let me tell you, if you've never gone to one - they're pretty motivating! Not only in my Beachbody business, but also my TeachersPayTeachers business too.

I immediately got the fire lit....again.

Look at the panel of wonderful ladies!

I heard some amazing testimonies. Some amazing stories. And I made a few new friends in the process...and found some people I knew in the 6 degrees of separation.

And then afterwards?? PiYo on the beach! Even better!

How much better can life get?? Motivation, salt, and sweat!

Then I  came home to my babies...

and I snuggled them. (Brooklynn wouldn't get in the picture - stubborn little 4 year old! haha)

Don't forget! In ONE week!! Challenge Group!! Message me on {FACEBOOK}.

Make Time for YOU Challenge Group starting!

Ok guys! It's a new year, so it's time to make the resolution (or better yet, PROMISE) to start focusing on YOU!! As women, moms, working moms, we tend to put ourselves LAST. Well, NO MORE! Time to think about YOU!.👐

Time to eat healthy, get fit (whether that's losing weight or toning up), and live a healthier lifestyle.
I'm putting together a challenge group - Make Time for YOU Challenge! You don’t need to buy anything from me in order for me to HELP you… this challenge is just something I specifically put together to support, motivate, and reward my customers. But if you don’t own any BeachBodyWorkouts, you will have time to figure out which program you want. We will start January 18th.

There are just 3 requirements!

1)Do a BeachBodyWorkout - You choose which one you want to do! I personally like 21 Day Fix Extreme, PiYo, Masters Hammer & Chisel.

2)Have me as your coach! I am there for you, to answer any questions and offer support whenever you need it!

3)Be ACTIVE in the Facebook group – the more you participate, the more you will get out of it! Help support others and you will get the support you need too.Contact me on {Facebook} @healthymamagettingfit. I will add you to the Secret Facebook Group!

*If you already have a coach, do a challenge with THEM, or you can switch to me if you feel they aren’t a good fit. But I don’t want to take you away from another coach if you’re already working with them.

Life Lately - Summer Vacation Week 7

Week 7 has come and gone. We didn't really do much, but we were still busy little bees!

First off... HAIR!!  I shared a photo one day and someone commented with... "Did you color your hair?!"  Um... no. That's my 6 inch roots.

Gah!! Luckily, I did have my hair appointment already scheduled for the day!   Yes, that's a LOT of foil...the more foil, the better I look! ha!

That same day I made a trip to Orlando to visit with one of my blogging friends who was in Orlando at a Kagan training. We had some yum dinner at Planet Hollywood....

And that was AFTER we sat in traffic for almost an hour to get about 600 yards, Caroline POOPED on her, AND she was driving my car after meeting her in real life for about 10 minutes. haha!  Best first meeting ever!

The next night, I got to go out AGAIN kidless! It's such a rare occasion that I get to dress up (out of my workout clothes or bathing suit) in the summer and even more rare that I get to go out kidless! haha

But the next day, Ron was back to work and I had some grocery shopping to do...with all 3 kids. Let me tell you. Every time I go shopping, people always comment how brave I am. lol. Let's just say that life is definitely never boring anymore!

I personally like it when they get the idea to go under the cart - lol. Much more calming.

Autumn finished up Dance Camp at Calvary.  She had a performance on Friday night to culminate the week's camp.

She was pretty excited. And the whole performance was so cute!

But let's just say... I think we found the one thing that Autumn is NOT good at! haha! She just stood there, singing or just not dancing. I don't know. It was pretty funny.  But I guess what matters is that she had fun, right?!  Right.

Saturday we just kind of hung around the house .... and rode Ziggles.

Then, that afternoon, we met up with my parents at Sebastian's campground, Long Point.

My dad is taking the girls out on the paddleboard to go to the island across the river.  I, on the other hand, needed a time out to calm down from the car ride down. So I sat at the campsite drinking my adult beverage while my parents entertained the girls.

They came back and boogie boarded a little.

My brother and his wife stopped by too, and we tried to get a shot of the babies... but Caroline and Jack were NOT cooperating very well! ha!

After they left, my dad and I took the girls paddleboarding for a little bit.  On our travels, we were paddling alongside dolphins! They were playing in the water next to us...and when we were at the island, we were finding all kinds of animals!

Then we came back and hung around the campsite for a little bit and had dinner.

Then it was time to go.  And they all fell asleep in the car. PTL. Peace. haha!

Autumn has also had plenty of time to practice her art skills.  The other day, I showed her how to draw a boy...or girl.  I used this cute directed drawing from Rowdy in Room 300

She drew Daddy. I love it!

Caroline turned 8 months old. Read about it {HERE}.

And I finished up Week 1 of the 21 Day Fix Extreme!

Never did I think I would ever get to a place where I was comfortable enough to share a picture of myself .... In a sports bra!!! Is my body perfect?? Hells no. But I have worked hard for where I have gotten to. I workout every day (nearly... There are days I miss here and there), I have learned to eat healthy (which started with using the Tone It Up Nutrition Plan), and I don't make excuses! Today I started week 2 of 21 Day Fix Extreme. The workouts push me and I really have to think about how to get all that food in each day (such a weird concept...eating a lot to lose weight!).

You can order the 21 Day Fix through me {HERE}! (or any other program!). I own pretty much ALL of the programs, so email me at jrossgetsfit@gmail.com if you have any questions!

Check out the rest of our summer vacation so far!
